This subscription course is designed to build your kid’s basic conversation skills while learning and practicing new vocabulary each week. It’s practical design and carefully organized curriculum seamlessly integrates structured Urdu learning in the kids’ everyday life. Through different activities, games, and fun, kids practice the learned vocabulary in class. This enables them to gradually become more comfortable with speaking Urdu, and over time, kids will build vocabulary, along with gaining language fluency to converse in Urdu.
The recommended run time for this course is for two full years to allow for consistent Urdu practice, as being consistent is the key to building fluency in speaking a language. The topics are well thought out to help the kids relate with the everyday vocabulary. The weekly themes are relevant and applicable in different areas of their life.

Class Format
Each session meets live online via Zoom, so your kids can attend the classes from any part of the world and from the comfort of your home. Each session is recorded and is shared with the parent upon request. Each recorded session is deleted after 30 days to ensure learner safety and privacy. This means that you can only access the recording for 30 days.
Since the classes are conversational, each class is highly interactive. All kids will have a safe space to learn and practice Urdu speaking skills to gain comfort and confidence. The weekly themes are generally not connected, so the learners can stop/start subscription any week.
Learners are encouraged to attend the class from a quiet background and stay unmuted during the class to allow timely interaction with me and other learners.
Important note: If no learners join the session in the first 10 minutes, it is considered a no-show. Thereby, the session ends.

I conduct this class primarily in English with structured in-class Urdu practice. This allows smooth transition to speaking Urdu. The learning continues at home through assignments and home activities, thus helping your kids become more confident in talking to Urdu speakers around them. Kids are encouraged to remain unmuted during the course to allow for real-time interaction. Therefore, please ensure that your kids take this class in a quiet room to ensure minimum background noise.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
Since this is a live online course with limited capacity (maximum 6 learners) in each session, your cancellation may mean taking up the spot of another learner who could have attended the session. You may start/stop subscription any week. If you choose to pause your subscription, you may do so for future lessons by simply emailing me (Annie) at [email protected]. If you choose to stop your subscription, you may do so at your end or you can also email me to stop the subscription for future weeks.
To be fair to you and the other learners who might have booked your seat in the course, a one-week notice is required before the next live meeting to stop/pause subscription and you won't be charged for the next (to be missed) session. No refunds are issued if the session is missed, have no-shows, or cancelled by the parent less than one week before the session. In case of missing a lesson, class recording is shared with the parent upon request.
