Recently finished @urdulearninglab 6-weeks urdu conversation course for adults. I was hesitant to register because I am fiercely protective of family time on weekends and because I only speak my embarrassing grammatically-flawed Urdu with my mom and husband 😆. But I reluctantly took the plunge for 1 hour per week and I am glad I did. The class was small enough to allow for a lot of interaction. The teacher @embracing.roots was enthusiastic and clear in her explanations and examples. The homework was simple (10 min to complete), yet very effective. I really enjoyed the Kahoot quizzes at the end of each class. We spent a lot of time on gendered nouns and past/present/future tense, which are the two areas I struggle most with. I also picked a lot of new vocabulary. Overall, it was awesome and I am one step closer to becoming fluent. Thanks @embracing.roots and @urdulearninglab ❤️
